Keisuke Matsuoka

(Miyagi, Giappone, 1980)

Si laurea e specializza in scultura presso Tohoku University of Art and Design (Yamagata, Giappone) nel 2005.

Nel 2013 ottiene la prestigiosa borsa di studio governativa “Fellowship of Overseas Study Program for Artists by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Japanese Government” (USA 2013-2014).

Dal 2002 espone le sue opere in musei pubblici (RIAS ARK MUSEUM OF ART Miyagi, National Art Center of Tokyo, ASAGO ART VILLAGE MUSEUM, The Museum of Modern Art Gunma) e in gallerie private (Space·S, INAXgallery2, galleria grafica bis, Gallery Yamaguchi, PROMO-ARTE Project Gallery, Gallery&Space AGITT, Tokyo, galleria d’arte FABER, Roma) in Giappone e Italia.

Nel 2016 riceve la borsa di studio “Followship under the Pola Art Foundation Overseas Study Program”, vive e lavora a Roma fino al 2017.

He graduated and specialized in sculpture at Tohoku University of Art and Design (Yamagata, Japan) in 2005.

In 2013 he won the prize “ Fellowship of Overseas Study Program for Artists by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Japanese Government ” (staying in the USA from 2013 to 2014).

Since 2002 he has exhibited his works in publimuseums (RIAS ARK MUSEUM OF ART Miyagi, National Art Center of Tokyo, ASAGO ART VILLAGE MUSEUM, The Museum of Modern Art Gunma) and private galleries (SpaceS, INAXgallery2, galleria grafica bis, Yamaguchi Gallery, PROMO-ATE Project Gallery, Gallery&Space AGITT, Tokyo, galleria d’arte FABER, Rome) in Japan and Italy.

In 2016 he won the prize“Fellowship under the Pola Art Foundation Overseas Study Program” and staying in Rome, Italy until 2017.
